Hi,

Check with your local Chicago Herpetological Society members there - especially a good fellow by name of Erik Williams - he knows his fish and crustacea and Varanus too....owners of V. dumerillii, no matter how large/small their terraria are do feed them crayfish - cant remember where he gets it from through - he goes by name "Tectovaranus - Ben A." on this forum...



There is also a article on Dumeril's monitor in Reptiles Magazine, March, 2004 issue..
