My understanding is that the microlepsis can get to be about 2 ft, while the Aegyptius can reach almost 3 feet. They are significantly sized lizards and need living spaces that can comfortably house them. I currently have a juvenile Aegyptius in a 4ft x 2ft tank, and he will not be comfortable in a tank that size for many years. [ Hide Replies ]
