Cage question 40 gal breeder vs 55 gallon

I am setting up a new Dragon enclouser I am looking for some input on which is better or at least the pros and cons of each. My choices are a 40 gallon breeder tank (36 inches long by 18 inches wide by 16 inches high) or a 55 gallon tank (48 inches long by 13 inches wide by 20 inches high) it would house 2 (m/F pair) of adult bearded dragons. I have both tanks already, and do not plan on buying anything diffrent.



I know already that the floor space of the 40 gallon is bigger (648 square inches veruses 624 square inches of a 55 gallon tank)
