Well, I found mites in my new baby's cage, so provent-a-mite is on the way. I did a quick clean of his enclosure, soaked all of his stuff and only put the snake and water dish back in the cage with a paper towel substrate. Once the mite spray arrives, I'll be doing a better cleaning. I also soaked him in a tub for about 30mins and noticed 3 or so mites left in the water afterwards.
Upon closer inspection, I also noticed this weird looking thing on his head. I tried to remove it both with a Q-tip and with my finger, but I didn't want to stress my baby too much. Any ideas as to what it could be?
