I work in specialty at my local petsmart, and we take great care of all of our animals, especially the reptiles. One day while I was working, this die hard PETA guy came into our store and asked to speak with my manager (the specialty manager), and all I thought was “Uh oh, here comes another PETA person asking us to release all of our animals”, but surprisingly, he out right complimented our store on the great care all of our animals were in. He said that he’s never seen such great care of animals by a petsmart or a petco. I’m pretty much the reptile guy at my store, and take extra special care of all of our scaly friends. I make sure to hydrate them when they come in from the supplier, I make sure that the turtles are getting frequent water changes, that everyone is being fed the right foods with the right amount of supplements (I only use repcal for our stores herps J ), etc. I know a lot of stores aren’t taking care of their animals, and yes it is disgusting, but the good guys are out there, doing as much as we can to improve the rep. pet store chains are getting. ----- 1.0.0 Bearded Dragons (Pagona Vetticeps)
