Leos however prefer ground heat and if you can get a small reptile heat pad for 10 gallon tanks and attach it to a rheostat the leo would thank you for it. Read the directions carefully. The pad should only go over half the area of the tank and keep the rheostat on low or medium. Then, just get a lower watt bulb for the heat lamp and put it over the same side the heat pad is on. My humid hide is made from a coolwhip container with a door cut into it. Put some wet paper towels inside it, and put it over the heat pad. The water dish should be on the cool side of the tank as well as a small dry hide. Hope this helps!!! | ||
