Juan,

I would not allow the crickets to breed or to grow inside the same enclosure as your monitor. With that many insects crawling around, defecating, and feeding, you run a greater chance of harboring parasites in that tank and making it generally unhealthy for the monitor. If the crickets do not have enough food in their tank or even if they do, they may resort to munching on the monitor. For the health and safety of your monitor, I would remove the crickets.
