Purchasing enclosure... Animal Plastics?

Hello all, my burm is but a wee three feet now, but I want to stay several steps ahead of the game with this guy. I was looking at the Animal Plastics T50, which measures 84Lx30Dx18H. I like the idea of a professionally designed and manufactured cage. I also have seen a glass aquarium of similar size for cheaper. What is it that makes an aquarium so much harder to clean than an Animal Plastic for example? (as I read in another post in the forum). Obviously I'm in no rush to make a purchase, but just gathering info. Please explain thoroughly as I have never had experience with designed cages like animal plastics or vision or anything like that. Thanks everybody.
