$$$ per morph

You can get a nice pair of Corns for £100 but you won't get any morph that's really red-hot or that brings a major profit margin.



Why not check out some web sites like Kathy Love's and buy a morph that you really like the look of? At the same time, you can also check out the prices to see what commands the best price.



Unless you plan to go into Corn breeding in a major way (like, buy some warehouse space or a barn!) then you won't make a profit. With just one pair of relatively cheap morphs, it's probable that you won't recoup the cost of buying/housing/feeding the adults unless they breed for years.



And don't forget Sod's Law of Corn Breeding which states "Just because you put a male and female together, doesn't guarantee that they will mate or produce fertile eggs."



It's probably best to view breeding as a fascinating addition to the enjoyment of keeping Corns in the first place.
