I don't know if they can, but I think they can make out figures on the t.v. Whenever I'm watching a documentary about animals or something with dull colored cars is when she's most interested. They might look like rats to her. It might just be that I only check if she's looking when something resembles a rat though. I know that she can make out the shapes from near by because she once bit the t.v. Her teeth were all fine but I'm not letting her get too close anymore.
Anyway, a boa watching t.v. is a pretty funny sight. I think a few people who dislike snakes would change their minds a bit if they saw it.
