By the way my Mali is doing excellent...he is a bit smaller (4-5inches STL) then i was planning on getting but he is very solid and chunky, with good fat reserves and is active, alert and eating well!

So when i first brought my uro home (day before yesterday) I gave him a decent soak and a good meal and left him with a water dish just in case he was thirsty. I have since removed the water dish....hopw often, if at all should i offer him water? A shallow dish once a week for a few hours? A shallow warm water soak once weekly?

How often do you guys offer water?

Also, he isnt hiding at night when he sleeps...he tend to sleep right out in the open, which seems to go against their natural behaviors...he has several different hides of various sizes, shapes etc...and he uses his hides during the day when he is not basking, but at night he doesnt use them so much...should i be worried?

Thanks
