Oh right, forgot about the water. Did you say it was a mali? I can't remember... Anyway, for the majority of the Uros, you probably don't need to offer water at all. With Archimedes I never did, and I soaked him probably 4-6 times a year at most. Usually when he needed a bath so badly I couldn't stand it any longer. If they start to look like something may be off, I will often feed them some dethawed veggies (super high water content the way I make them, lol). In the end, I think it is a personal choice between you and your Uro. Offer him a little water once a week, if you never see him drink, try 2 or 3 weeks, lol. As I said though, for the vast majority of the Uros a proper diet will take care of their water needs.
