Shedding wayn too soon. 6 days

My young male surie just shed 6 days ago. He has only eaten one meal since. His eyes and belly patern are blue and his color is faded. I have not overfed him, he's eaten only half as much as his female sibling by choice. I am absolutely sure that he shed completely last time. Have any of you had this issue? I just don't see why this would happen. Also, I am positive he is in shed.
