Thank you for your help. Unfortunately, I can not get my boa to a vet for a few days. For now, is there anything I can do to find what is causing it?

Do you know of any ways to inhibit, stop, or reverse the progression of this problem until I can get veteranary attension?

How does bacterial growth such as that which may cause too much shedding occur? The cage is perfectly clean. If it is bacterial growth, what are signs of it? Where can I find areas where it is concentrated so that I can administer some antibiotics that I had aproved by a vet before I purchased my boa?

What other causes are there?
