Posted by: jimfmcdonald at Tue Oct 25 23:23:30 2005 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by jimfmcdonald ] thats normal for these guys, if any things not normal it would be that she waited 3 months to lay the next clutch. my females lay a clutch every 28 days or so with or without a male. the longer they are not with a male the more the eggs become infertile. one of my females just laid 13 eggs today and this was her 8th clutch in 8 months. but all my females will eat all the time. even while they are laying eggs if I would let them. the only way to get them to stop is to keep the male away from them and cut way back on the feedings. and maybe cool them down a bit as well. but as long as they stay nice and big and in good health then just let them do there thing ! good luck and if you can post the pics of the eggs so I can see if they look fertile or not. | ||
