I had a BP shipped out on Thursday once. Because of extenuating circumstances, the snake didn't get here til MONDAY. He was still alive, but extremely peeved... he was the same way, struck at everything.
I left him alone in his cage, only moved him to clean and feed... he struck for about two or three weeks. He's still really shifty (had him about two months now) but doesn't strike at all. And, once I let him get used to me, he's totally fine with being held. Just no sudden movements.
If you leave her alone for awhile, she should come around (depending on what her temperament was like before). Shipping is stressful under any conditions, and, I mean, c'mon, if you had to stay at 63 degrees for an extended period of time, you'd probably be peeved too. Same for my little guy... I think I'd have come out biting if I'd have been in a box for four days! I didn't hold it again 'em ----- 1.1.0 Ball pythons (Diablo, Mercedes)
