I use a zoomed heat pad that would definitly burn it down with the whole house too so I made a case for it if you will. I cut 2 peices of lexan and bolted them together using washers inbetween leaving room for the heat pad itself. The result was a heatpad sandwich with lexan as the bread. It does not get too hot to the touch and I use newspaper for substrate also so it doesn't burn him or the paper. I put right in on the floor of the enclosure. Try that! | ||
