Corns and rats never had problems shedding but I provide the humid hide anyway! What I do is add a humid hide for the colubrids. That didn't fair so well for the python. So I misted the whole cage including the glass on the sides to where it was almost wet. too wet can give a ball python a RI. Then throw a towel over the top of the cage. Since you are talking colubrids, just get a piece of toilet paper fold it over and place it on the substrate. Soak it with water and put the hide back on top. mist it 2x a day and you are fine. I disagree with the other poster saying bp's don't need extra humidity to shed. just my opinion though! | ||
