I agree that a humidity box is likely to solve the problem and be the easier route, but I don't knopw what you mean by saying corns don't come from a humid area. I bet the people in Florida would love to know they have low relative humidities.....lol. Besides, even if they came from an area like here where 15% rel hum is high, they tend to hang out itn the more humid microclimates....which is something they can't do in a small cage unless we PROVIDE the special microclimates (like a humidity box).
