ok i have bought 4 new babys from big name breeders. they have some odd stool and i want to verify if there is a problem or not with them. one of my boas, an albino het for stripe, has watery stools. the urates are there but it is surrounded by clear stuff that resembles mucus. the two times i observed this, one time it was watery and the other time it was a little more thick.

also 2 of my boas have real gritty types of stool. it almost has the consistency of wet sand. there isnt much of this but it is noticeable. when u look at it it looks like tiny tiny pebbles stuck together, or soemtimes it is even scattered in the mucus i talked about earlier.

also last thing i noticed is that the urates and actual stool come out at different times. sometimes i dont even find the stool, just the urates.



little about the care of my boas. I have been keeping them on paper towels in sterilite containers. i feed them fuzzy and pinky rats. ambient 81-84 and 92 hot spot. and they seems very healthy, but it just seems like their stool is a little wierd, but maybe it normal?
