I keep my thermometers at tha back of the cages where the snakes are most likely to lie. One on each side.

One side having a humidity gauge, or I place one between the thermometers.

I place my thermostat probe right near the thermometerm on the hot side.

I check my temps at least once a day using a temp gun.
