Hi, they will probably "chill-out" after their first year. Some stay radical for longer but with frequent gentle handling they will tame down. Just don't overhandle, if they ever show signs of stress like not eating on schedule I would leave them alone. Remember with the cold season coming(don't know where your at) the risk of colds in newbies is greater.
