The likelyhood of an infant getting salmonella within hours of coming home is unlikely. Unless the parents were rubbing the bottle nipples on the uro's excrement. My guess is the mother gave the child the bacteria through breastmilk or not washing hands (eating raw eggs in icecream etc) and passing it on that way. | ||
