RE: feeding

I am not a snake whisperer, but I haven't even had a hoggie bite me in defense anyway(it seems). When I have been bitten, it has been from a snake resting comfortably in my hands without agitation. I think it is more of a feeding response. When my hog gets ticked off, she throws herself around, hisses, puffs up, and strikes with her mouth closed. I have not met every hognose however and my experience is with nassicus.
