I'm very sorry to hear the bad news about your chameleon. Even when we see it coming, it doesn't lessen the pain, feelings of guilt, and sorrow.
Chameleons are so different from other herps, their care and husbandry demands far exceed most others. We tend to be more understanding in this forum when losses occurr. Much less finger pointing; rather we try to look at every loss as an important 'lessons learned' opportunity: what can we learn from our loss that might help us and others in the future. This may not help your lost friend, but maybe, just maybe, we might be able to take what we've learned and apply it as to avoid another tragedy.
Again, my condolenses and sympathies for your loss. ----- Victor Gomez
