The original trans that I started these animals from were pretty messed up. My goal was to breed these animals to the strongest dragons that I had. One of the male trans bred with a huge orange female. A female trans bred with a hypo/pastel male. The hypo/pastel breeding was probably not the wisest descision, being that I am breeding mutation to mutation. The offspring from the orange female did excellent, they grew super fast, ate well, and really showed no sign of weakness. When I bred these hets together I produced my first trans. I took the strongest fastest growing males, and bred them to multiple females. I wanted the trans to be perfect in every way, stocky, fat tails, fast growth, both eyes blue, no short tails or heads, large size, and eating well. Basically, most of my breedings come from different hets. The hypo/patsel breeding was mostly a failure, I got one perfect male that I still use as a breeder. I use him to breed with other trans cross hypo/pastel.

These trans lack white pigment. Some have no white at all, which I call these the super trans. When they are little babies, you can see the organs and everything. As they get bigger, they lose some of the trans, but still look weird. Sometimes, the skin will take a blue or grey hue instead of being clear. Also, when you remove the white, the colors underneath look intense, almost fluorescent. Also, both eyes are a dark blue. I get others that hatch with white heads with trans bodies, some with scattered patches of white all over. I have one that hatched blue, like a panther chameleon. There is so many variations, that I can't keep the breeding in one direction. This is the reason why everything has a different price. I see the future of dragons leaning toward ball python morphs. There is a number of projects that I am working on with these things. I also definately plan to post some pictures soon. It is very hard to explain without some visual aid. Any questions just ask, and I will try to get back as soon as I can. phantomdragon@cox.net
