BCI stands for Boa Constrictor Imperator a subspecies of the nominate form Boa Constrictor Constrictor. BCI are also known as "common Boas". BCC are typically known as "True Redtails" and are a neo tropical - tropical subspecies whereas BCI tend to usually be a somewhat more temperate climate Ssp. Rainbows fall into a completely different Genus "Epicrates".
