Hydrating WC Drymarchon spp. cannot be understated and is critical to their long-term survival. It is also important to hydrate CB specimens after shipping, as the dry air incurred at altitude, during air travel, is extremely dehydrating and can lead to both acute and chronic renal failure among Drymarchon spp., especially WC and young CB specimens.
While many folks are most concerned in regards to the feeding response their new acquisition harbors , the wise keeper is most concerned with how well their new charge drinks!
