not sure why you don't want a vet as a recommendation, but if you don't think there are any in the area, you could try this website to see if maybe there are some listings near you. this is by no means a complete list but it could help you.

also if there really are no herp vets near you, parasites happen in all animals so any vet could always do a fecal for you. if the vet doesn't know any other vets to call to ask for medicine and dosage recommendations, you could tell him to read the site below as a guide
