I guess it is a good thing they are being removed from Puerto Rico, I wouldn't want any native animals becoming endangered. There are enough rare snakes on the island to have to worry about another species.

I am not really sure about the potency on Parrots, but the Puerto Rican Parrot is just begining to grow in population size. Last time I was there I was fortunate enough to witness 3 fly above on a beach in Mayaguez. This is the west coast of the island far from El Yunque where they are predominant, definately a plus to the trip.
