Tokays prefer high humidity and prefer to climb on smooth surfaces. Also its not easy to construct nice bark backwalls in an all screen tank.

IMHO the minimum requirements for a single Tokay are 65 g (MINIMUM) tall (minimim of 4 ft) glass tanks with a rainforest setup.

In more than 20 years of Tokay keeping, the biggest Tokay I ever saw was a specimen of 38 cm (almost 15". The biggest Tokay I have today is a 8 year old cb male of 35,5 cm (14".

I do not believe the 2 ft stories-I have heard too many exaggerations when it comes to lizard sizers that I only believe things which are well documented. And I have seen a lot of Tokays-but not such giants. It would also be strange that there are no documented cases to science of Tokays exceeding 15".
