French Polynesian Gecko

Can someone help me out. I'm an Animal Control Officer for San Francisco and somebody dropped off a gecko that travled from French Polynesia in a suitcase by accident. I have not been able to locate on the internet. Its about 2 inches long, with a light brown body with dark blotches. Steinhard aquarium reccomended meal worms, but even those seem to big. Any help with feeding and housing instructions would be greatly appreciated.
