i think it just has to do with the market right now. the snakes are so desierable, because they seem to get the best of both world when looking at the two bloodlines involved. having a sunset is like having a homozygous hypo and the added bonus of the hog coloration. it seems to be the most valuable cross (which normaly do not do well when speaking value). i believe this is due to both bloodlines being classified as BCI. i would assume that as the number of available animals (sunsets) increases, the prices will go down just as with all other new morphs. sometimes the market works in weird ways. you have to admit they are a beautiful example of how mans influences can work out.
