I gathered up the Uros (5) for a soak and I dont really see george much, he doesnt like people and he spends most of fall and winter sleeping in his cave so I mostly leave him alone exept checking that he's doing ok in there. So I put them all in the sink with warm water and let them soak then when I went to return tehm to theri enclosers I felt a hard spot of georges side. he lives alone in his cage but it felt and looked like what I would expect to see if another Uro had nipped him on the side I looked him over and both elbows hav thick spots shedding off and underneath is white skin PICTURES HERE http://photobucket.com/albums/v440/UroJade/George/
his cage is 6x2x2 and long he has built in caves and basking spots made of woods covered in concrete he had a sand an dirt mix in the bottom but i took it out becuase the florr is to shallow to keep it from drying out. so until i make a litterdam the floor is bare. He cant reach to any of his lights I use regular house bulbs for the basking spots and have 2 18inch uvbs one over each basking spot he eats mostly collard greens and squash/or sweet potato in the winter (bad selection at the store) sometimes I can find turnip greens in the summer he gets squash.collards, turnip, mustard greens, dandelion, green peas as a treat and iguana pellets if i run out of greens and cant get out to get some. he lives along and has only had supervise contact witha trio of females (im trying to figured out haw he'll act towards them if I move them in perminantly)
