man kevin,im sorry to hear about that,i can understand exactly what youre going through as you may remember about 3 months ago,i had a similar problem and mine went missing for almost 3 months.i had several threads relating to the escape and i was offered much advise on finding him,best spots to look,how to make traps,how to find clues to where he is ect.ill be more than happy to repeat the advise i was given if you dont remember my threads.i have to admit,much of the advise was worthless but i dont think i would have found him without at least one tip i got.all it did was tell me he was still in the house so i didnt give up.had i given up,i may never have found him because where he was eventually found,was a place that i only would have gone to if i was looking for him.anyway,keep looking and dont give up.where do you live?? if you live up north like me(new jersey)its getting kinda cold at night so you can decide not to turn on your heat yet and that will force him to seek out warmth(only a couple places in the house stay warm even in a cold house),like behind fridge,boiler room,dryer,ect.)anyway,keep posting and i just have one thing to add that may make you feel a little better.chondros are not like burms,boas or other ground loving snakes.the nature of chondros make causes them to typically seek out areas that are not so hidden as other snakes.this fact is why its very rare to hear of a chondro escaping and not being found.to tell you the truth,i think out of all the stories i heard in responce to my post,all of the missing chondros were found and even some after several months like mine.happy hunting!
