Wild caught Mandarins are much harder to keep than captive born Mandarins. They need to be made comfortable, plus you must look for parasites and disease also. Wild caughts might go for a long time without eating. One thing you might try is to catch them late in the season, in the fall. Then, if they don't eat, you can cool them to spring. Also, babies will do better than adults when wild caught. Good luck...
