I'm an elementary principal who got a beautiful beardie for her school. You can't believe what I had to go through from my school district's safety officer to be allowed to keep it! He actually read through the NY State Safety guide for school pets with me over the phone! He's reading down through the list of unsafe pets....and he says...oh...ocelot....what's an ocelot? (I was dying.) Anyway, he said I couldn't have any VENOMOUS pets. LOL



I'm glad to read that my beardie is no more venomous than my school safety officer! LOLOL
