Alteredmind described the risks of putting multiple dragons together perfectly. There really isn't anything for me to add or deduct from his explainations.
What I want to comment on is this misconception that seems to be floating around lately that if an owner doesn't want his animals to breed, the animals wont. Humans are the only living creature that won't mate if males and females are kept together. Humans don't go into esterous/rut at least not in the sense animals do. We are the only wants who can choose when not to mate/breed. The animal world has some controls, seasonal, over crowding, stress etc, that would prevent conception after mating, but when all conditions are good a male and female will mate and produce offspring, despite the wish of the owner.
So, if a male and female dragon are put together and both are sexually mature, they will mate. And if both are viable, the female will produce eggs, lots of them. She may produce them even if she had never encountered a male, but these eggs will be infertile of course.
