Dramatic Color Change

Two years ago I purchased 4 normal hatchling females at the NRBE for a grand total of $120. They were all so normal appearing I never bothered to even photograph them. Last weekend I was shocked to find that one of the females underwent a drastic color change with her last shed. I've heard of this happening prior to other peoples balls. Does anyone know if in these other instances this was a one time change, or do they continue to lose some pigment during future sheds?
