Yes, 18 months seems to be the standard, though I've had males go a few months younger than that.. How often do you feed that thing?? I've got 18 month old males that are a tad over 4', and that's with higher than average feeding.. 6' in 18 months seems a little unhealthy. I haven't had males go off feed in the season, a lot of my males will eat during breaks of copulation and go right back at it when they're finished.. Have any pictures of the snake?? I'd like to see the size of his skull, would be interesting to see.. Take care | ||
