well, I was mining for gold one day when.....
actually.....
These are solidified concretions from females' post-cloacal sulci, or in english...the sacks we probe to determine sex of an individual....
The mucopolysaccharides, or mucosal secretions, help lubricate the surface of the area...they accumulate, take on the shape of the sulci, and then while still soft, are eliminated often at the time of ecdysis (shed)...exposed to air, they harden into something you can sell on eBay!
I find them periodically, maybe once or so a year for any given female....
