I've been thinking lately; I am a couple of months short of my 26th birthday. Next year I am hoping to breed my 50% for clown male to my normal female and in a few years prove him out (hopefully) by breeding a 100% male to their offspring. being that balls occasionally live to 40 years it is possible, however unlikely that the snakes I have now, never mind their decendants, will outlive me. So I've been thinking about what kind of arrangements can be made for snakes when their keepers die. Some of you guys are in your 50's and older and have extensive collections. What kind of plans have you guys made for your snakes that very likely will out live you? I'm not trying to be morbid, just curious. These problems don't often come up with mammalian pets which are short lived and easily adoptable. Thanks in advance for replies.
