Burms...retics....balls....boas...anacondas...you name it, it's starting to cause a problem. It's a shame really, but a lot of people...including a lot of breeders down that way...are just releasing unwanted animals into the everglades. It's always happened, but lately it's gotten out of control and finding/removing them has become a full time thing. FL is trying to get legislation through that will make it hard to own any species of Boa or Python...regardless of it's size, threat, or ability to survive in the wild. It really sux, but look to have to go through the same things for you snakes as you would a venomous if you live down here.
