I think it would be nice to have an open forum for this subject, like the ball python forum does. I think with all the new people that have been getting into breeding boas, balls, or whatever....this info needs to be discussed.
I think we will always have those who try to beat everyone else out of their priceing...just look at the classifieds, but we should all know or be concerned with the fair market value.
I only produce Salmons...so far, but It would have been alot easier to set priceing if there was a standard for me to look at. I am not so sure I agree with $10,000. animals that I get a $1,000. return on either....a couple years later.
Something I read on the ball forum....babies will move at far less prices, and I understand this. It seems that the yearlings and older have retained a higher priceing and to me it is justified.
I think this would make an excellent discussion for the boa forum...Thanks Kingsnake.
