Alot of people say its the black speckling and yellow base color. For the most part I can see what they mean. More so the yellow base than the black specks(Ive seen many of speckled boas that are not het). I myself see alot of stuff in my own collection I cant quite put my finger on. First off Ive noticed that my 100% hets go through drastic color changes from nasty dark to super pale. Another thing is I see something different in the eyes. Im not sure what, they just look differnt... I have a pair of 66% het sisters from Chicago and a 100% het male that was a sunglow litter mate from cali. One of the sisters and the male look the same and are about the same size and the other sister looks normal and is about 8 inches bigger. So this has also got me thinking that maybe hets are more likely to grow a lil slower than others. All I know for sure is when I put my hets in a pile and my normals in a pile there is a different "look". Call me crazy and maybe I am but its just what I've observed over the last few years watching over my boas. Also one last thought, you can pretty much tell if a hypo is super, or not by looking at it and for sure with a motley so why not a possiable het. boa? Rich
