Posted by: Katrina at Mon Dec 5 09:12:38 2005 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by Katrina ] Treat a Reeves pretty much like a slider - you'll need a UVB light such as Reptisun 5.0 or Reptisun 10.0 and a heat light, which can be as simple as a 75 watt household light bulb. OR, you can buy one of the "newer" mercury vapor bulbs that produce both UVB and heat. If the animal is an adult, you can use the mercury vapor bulb. If a hatchling or younger juvenile, I'd go with the Reptisun/household light bulb combination. A water heater to keep the water around 72-75F might not be a bad idea. When I get home tonight I can supply a link to a caresheet. | ||
