They are getting big and they clog up my filter that I have in there with them. Yesterday I went to the local pet store and he recommended the Aqua Clear 110 for my aquarium (55 gal w/ 3 turtles). He also recommended that I add an extra sponge on the intake side of the filter and that would help cut back on the smell. I was also told to try feeding apples and other foods besides just Reptomin Pellets. I was wondering if you guys had any comments on what I was told at the pet store. Also, My RES is 4-6 inches across and my Yellow bellied is 5-8 across, and my razorback musk is about 4 inches across. I have them in a 55 gal. Is that enough, if not what is recommended? I was also wondering how difficult an outside pond and hibernation would be. If you have any info on this or any web sites or mags or whatever it would be greatly appreciated |
