I have a boa that I got at a local pet store that they had taken in from someone. He was about 4.5 ft. and had amazing color. I bought him because I could tell he was in trouble. I did get him for $80 when they wanted $200. He was infested with mites and had many scars from what I assume to be rat bites, and a scar on his nose from rubbing the enclosure he had been kept in. I have had him for three years now and the scars are obviously permanent because they're still there.

I was able to clean up the mites, but the scars from the bites and the scar on his nose still show evidence that he was mistreated. The rat bites have completely healed, but his nose will never be normal. He always has tough sheds because they start wrong.

DON"T FEED LIVE!!!!
