In my experience, adult Trimorphodons readily accept mice. I have noticed that females are most prone to feed on mammals. The Trimorphodon I currently have alive both feed on mice or rat pups exclusively, and have never been fed lizards. The largest individual has been in my care since 1996 and takes 4-6 mice per feeding. She is very large for the species.

I would avoid hatchlings or juveniles, but an adult Trimorphodon is like keeping a ratsnake. Be sure that they have secure hiding spots (I use cork bark stacked) and they also like a basking lamp, especially during the cool months. Good luck.
