Well, just to be on the safe side (Im extremely paranoid) I took both Cobalt and Capuchi to the vet. Dr green, our vet, said that they have a delayed shed and humidity is the probable cause. He said nothing to worry about, just soak 'em in the shower for another half hour and apply some corn oil. I also just recieved and installed my mist-creating humidifiers for both enclosures and both chameleons have now almost completed their sheds! The vet-visit was only $38.00 since no topical or oral medicines were prescribed, so that was a bonus.



Its really funny to see all the stares when you take an exotic reptile to a vet clinic in Michigan! Most people have hardly ever heard of a chameleon, and when Dr. Green was assessing both chams, their were probably about 15 people looking in the room at both chameleons! lol, it was pretty funny to see. Thanks so much Lele and Jim for the Tips about controlling the humidity and such, that REALLY helped!
